This course covers the requirements for the Safeguards Rule’s “qualified individual” and Privacy Rule of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Information covered includes, but is not limited to, data breach response, data retention and disposal, and use of nonpublic personal information. The following model policies are included within the course: Dealership Privacy Policies and Information Security Standards, Employee Agreement to Comply with Privacy Polices and Information Security, and Vendor Agreement to Maintain Confidentiality.
